Dysport is a neuromodulator composed of a neurotoxin protein called botulinum toxin type A (similar to Botox) which temporarily paralyzes the muscles to soften fine lines and wrinkles, giving a more natural appearance. Some benefits of Dysport include no downtime, minimal discomfort, and no surgeries/scars/incisions.
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, that helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and creases on your face such as the perioral lines, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. Restylane-L is placed in the tear troughs to give you a more Restylane Lyft restores volume to the cheeks, and can be used to create a more pronounced chin and jawline. How to prep
Avoid alcohol and blood thinners like Aleve, Ibuprofen and Aspirin at least 5 days prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising.
What is Botox?
Botox is a neuromodulator composed of a neurotoxin protein, called botulinum toxin that relaxes muscles by temporarily blocking nerve impulses that cause those muscles to contract. This can help in creating a smoother and refreshed appearance, and decreases fine lines and wrinkles.
Who should avoid this treatment?
Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Clients with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome should consult with their doctor before receiving treatment.
What should I expect during treatment?
We prep the skin and use a tiny needle to administer small amounts of Botox to each treatment area. The number of injections will depend on the area(s) treated.
What will I see immediately after?
Immediately after, you will have small red bumps at each injection site. These bumps tend to go down within 15-20 minutes with use of an ice pack. Avoid laying flat for four hours after your treatment.
Will it hurt after?
It is normal to have slight tenderness in the treated area immediately after.
How to prep
Avoid alcohol and blood thinners like Aleve, Ibuprofen, and Aspirin at least 3-5 days prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising. Please notify the provider if you take any anticoagulation therapy such as Plavix, Coumadin, Eliquis, Xarelto, Pradaxa, or Brilinta. If you have a history of cold sores let your provider know ahead of time so they can call you in a prophylactic prescription of valacylovir.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers can be used to naturally enhance your facial features, as well as supplement the loss of volume that occurs naturally with aging.
What are fillers made of?
Fillers are comprised of Hyaluronic Acid, a naturally occurring substance found in our bodies. Hyaluronic Acid is known for its incredible ability to bind to water molecules and its volume-enhancing properties.
Who should avoid this treatment?
Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, clients who have had an active infection within the last two weeks, clients who have sore throat or dental issues, clients who are having a breakout of cold sores or pimples, clients who have on and off sinus and puffiness issues, and clients who are allergic to any components within fillers.
What should I expect during treatment?
We will prep the skin using alcohol swabs and apply numbing to the treatment area. Filler will be placed where it is needed to replace natural volume loss or to enhance an area. You’ll be able to see a sneak peak of your results immediately after.
What will I see immediately after?
Immediately after, you'll be able to see a sneak peak of your results. You may also notice, lumps, bumps, bruising and uneven swelling.
Will it hurt after?
It is normal to have slight tenderness in the treated area immediately after and for a few days.
When will I see results?
Results are typically seen immediately after the filler is placed, but may take up to 14 days for the final results to be seen.
When will I see results?
Botox will begin to kick in around 7 days, and Dysport takes about 3-4 days to set in, but “final results” will show 14 days after treatment.
What things should I avoid after treatment?
Avoid touching, rubbing, or putting physical pressure on the affected area. Avoid sweating and strenuous activity for 24 hours. Avoid laying flat for four hours after treatment. Take a break from makeup and working out for 24 hours.
What can I do after my treatment?
You can return to work or even go meet with your friends for dinner. Just remember not to manipulate the treatment area and that having alcohol after can cause you to bruise.
When will I know if I need a touch up?
Your results will be in full effect 14 days after treatment. You may schedule a follow up appointment 2 weeks after your treatment if you’re in need of a touch-up (which will be complimentary).
What if I think I’m having an issue after my treatment?
Call the office immediately if you have any unexpected problems after the procedure.
What things should I avoid after treatment?
Avoid working out for 24 hours and skip the makeup for the day. Be careful to only touch the area with clean hands. Wearing a fresh mask after treatment is highly recommended. Avoid sweating and any strenuous activity for 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid laying the side where treatment was done (ie. sleep on your back the night after getting filler).
What can I do after my treatment?
You can resume your daily activities after your treatment but remember you may be visibly bruised and/or swollen so always plan your filler visit with plenty of time to heal up before an important event.
What if I think I’m having an issue after my treatment?
Call the office immediately if you have any unexpected problems or concerns after the procedure.
